With the FW collection 3.1 Phillip Lim dropped a comic book, "Kill The Night’ , an original book co-written by Phillip Lim and John Ostrander and drawn by Jan Duursema. The characters of the comic are dressed in the FW collection, with precisely drawn small details... it's amazing! According to Phillip Lim...
"The Fall 2012 collection is inspired by the spirit of comic books such as Sin City and V for Vendetta and the neo-noir heroines who embody it. The comic book became the natural medium to tell this story. A story of duality and metamorphosis, day and night, black and white, love and betrayal. Things are not what they seem. Look again."

Among all the FW items on the rack for the shooting day of last week, these sweaters by The Elder Statesman were the most stand out items to my eyes. I have a weakness for crew-neck sweaters so it didn't take too long for me to fall in love with them! They are simply timeless and exquisitely constructed, and are said to last generations. I especially like the Grey x Navy one, as it is easy to combine with any bottom I own... I am thinking to pair it with the AR Leather Trousers that I've just received and am excited to wear. Since we are starting to see Winter pieces in the store, such as fur, leather and cashmere, our mood is gradually shifting towards a FW wardrobe.
