AR Denim Project: Mac Huelster

 

About six months ago, Aloha Rag's shooting team visited Ice Cold Frames shop  in Williamsburg, Brooklyn to catch up with Mac Huelster for the AR denim project. His frame studio is filled with the pieces of wood, plastic, glass and some odds and ends that he uses for the frames, as well as heavyweight tools. He showed us around his studio, and answered a few questions about what's he looks for in an everyday pair of jeans. Recently, we revisited him to see the progress of AR's Raw Straight Jeans, and his pair shows a unique fade and washing, with stains of paint and oil from his work.
