The designer of Girl. by Band of Outsiders, Scott Sternberg, explained his SS12 collection as the modern version of 70's cult Australian film, "Picnic at Hanging Rock". By layering crochet and floral patterns on flowy chiffon and cotton, he captured the nostalgic and girlie mood latent in the movie. The color palette is subtle and naive, mostly based on faded blues and cream, and we think the line pretty much sums up how girls now-a-days want to dress; romantic, delicate, and youthful!
