Spotlight: Martin Margiela Bottoms

We can't agree more that the good pair of pants is the foundation of a sophisticated wardrobe. Martin Margiela's SS13 collection offers some amazing bottoms with various details. 

- The Chino (from the left)

The chino is slightly slimmer than their iconic Anatomic pants, and create a clean straight line. The chino is a perfect option when you would like to freshen up your every day look. 

- The Jeans (center)

Margiela slim jeans are one of the brand's signature styles. This "2 years shade" has an impeccable wash that reflects a broken-in texture. 

- White Denim(right)

Taking the silhouette from brand's signature slim jeans, this pair is a special edition for this season featuring an ecru color dye with worn in slight staining on white denim.

Joe Brainard's Flowers

Amongst the phonomenal works that Joe Brainard produced in his life, flower series are definitely my favorite. As you can see, Brainard is known for his love for Pansies - he painted and collaged them everywhere. Just staring at these beautiful paintings, they always makes me happy especially around this time of year when nature comes back to life in every corner of the city.
